Allen Buansi Nets Over $50,000 in 10-Day Reporting Period

CHAPEL HILL, NC -- Chapel Hill Town Council member and NC House candidate Allen Buansi announced raising over $50,000 in the first ten days of campaigning. The announcement comes with his 10-day report filed to the State Board of Elections on October 1st. 

Buansi’s strong fundraising shows a deep enthusiasm in Chapel Hill and Carrboro for his experience, leadership and vision for a North Carolina that is affordable, accessible and inclusive.

Nearly half of Buansi’s donors gave less than $100, which shows the grassroots support that is behind him already. Over 78% of Buansi’s contributions came from within the district, which includes Chapel Hill and Carrboro. 

Buansi knows that Representative Verla Insko has long been a leader at raising funds and resources for Democrats across North Carolina, and this strong fundraising period represents a first step towards continuing that legacy.
